The pottery is a blend of fire and earth, and the crystallization of human wisdom. Itsappearance improves our way of life and promotes the development and progress of society, serving as the civilization witness to mankind. Primitive pottery industry in China scattersalmost all over the country, from the discovery of the ruins, it appears that not onlyMesopotamia is a bustling pottery cultural sites, with pottery widely distributed, but alsoplace like the bronze to the distribution of the Nen River Valley original pottery of the earlyIron Age. Red pottery from Nen River Valley is the representative of the original artifacts, ashistorical relics, which bears value both in research and art.The paper first begins to probe into the history of the red pottery. By searching andstudying a lot of literature, analyzing the data and summarizing the theory, the authormanaged to obtain large amounts of data. Through the summary of the current status quo ofthe Nen River red pottery, and the current status of the root causes, this paper found the focusof basic research. Through analysis of the observed phenomenon of several cultural and typeof the process of the Nen River Valley red pottery, this paper goes against the old leadingruins pottery samples in Fulaerji research, and tries to find out the composition and firingtemperature of red pottery clay and pottery clothing and fired red ceramic samples. The experimental sample composition analysis: detection of whiteness XRD diffractionexperiments, non-metallic material chemical composition analysis, and then determining thefinal composition of the material. The three properties correspond pottery carcass part, thephysical part and the whole state, and its value varies from different operating processes ofpottery. The results show that: the ingredients of the ruins from Laolongtou potsherd samplecarcass0.01%iron,0.30%magnesium oxide,0.01%calcium oxide,0.23%of antimonyoxide,6.74%alumina and17.2%of the silicon oxide. The red pottery coverage fromLaolongtou pottery ruins samples showed: hematite, albite, anorthite, quartz, hematite is themain ingredient, after XRD ray diffraction analysis. And this paper draw the conclusion thatfrom experimental analysis, red pottery from Nen River Valley was formed by roasting it inan oxidizing atmosphere to700°C.The focus of this paper is to discuss the red pottery process research and to develop the basis of theoretical design practice, considering the types, structure, material, size, color andother factors of Nen River Valley red pottery. Finally designing a set of red pottery productsis a goal to meet the actual needs of the development of the Nen River Valley red potteryinnovation. And this paper attempts to developt Nen River Valley red pottery studies to play asupporting role of theory and practice.
