Research On Fujian Post Office Of The Late Qing Dynasty(1897-1911)

Post which is managed by country and delivers business mails (letters or articles) directly,has many characteristics.At the end of the Qing Dynasty,the groundbreaking establishment of the post makes for the national unity and social progress.The research object of this article is Fujian Post Office(1897-1911),including the establishment and development.The research contents of this article is the background,developing process,operational management,local characteristics,historical role and long-standing problems of this period.This article focuses on the unique local characteristics and historical role of Fujian Post office at the end of the Qing Dynasty.Because of these characteristics and role,Fujian Post gains a foothold, haves a development in this turbulent social background,and performes very well in the National Postal Service.Finally by analyzing the long-standing problems of Fujian Post of the Late Qing,it reveals that the development of Fujian Post Office is instable but it can provide the enlightenment for the future postal service.
