Thus it has a special position in China's modern postal history. Through the regaining of economic rights and the 1911 Revolution in the latter stage of Qing Dynasty, postal service of China leaped ahead towards unification and independent development: The postal service of Fujian , after breaking away from the customs, equaled the stated-owned postal; it was not only administered by the local government, but also managed by Chinese Central Government postal organization vertically . It had made great achievement on many aspects at that moment: its scale expanded and communication efficiency improved; it not only attacked Civil post with the property of feudal small-scale production but also played an important role in resisting the invading of the foreign postal. The reasons for its development was mainly the regaining of economic rights in the latter stage of Qing Dynasty and the 1911 Revolution, and the advanced postal personnel system and the postal protection of Fujian local government. But there still exsited limitation in its development in this period of the Fujian postal service which had restricted its further development.
