Oil painting is introduced into China as western art. In China, it starts relatively late, and it’s about one hundred years from its initial development to the prosperity. Chinese oil painting may copy western painting mode or it claims oil painting’s nationalization on its development path of growth. Facing the plight of Chinese painting, the artist began to focus on the children’s painting, the picture is more or less embodies the aesthetic ideology and clumsy.It makes culture people pay more attention to the thinking of human nature and also picks up human’s most primitive appearance.In the21st century, the world culture presents the fusion trend and Chinese oil painting artists begin to pay close attention to children painting. They get nourishment from children painting; the painting seems to appear the plain elements;while it is not obvious, but indicates the aesthetic ideology begin to form. Therefore, the authors attempt to analysize and compare the potential aesthetic commonness and language differences between Chinese traditional art and western modern painting from the children viewpoint of plain aesthetic ideology. The authors draw lessons from the children emotional characteristics to read and find the problems and relevant solutions it may encounter on its way from enrichment to prosperity; at the same time it illustrates the importance of focus ing on life originand spiritual pursuit from the perspective of artistic connotation and cultural spirit and from the art’s existing history background and living environment. This essay combines art history, art philosophy, children psychology, etc., using methods such as image study, comparative study to discuss that Chinese oil art can learn from children’s art when inheriting chinese culture quality and also hope it can bring some enlightenment to the present oil painting creation.
