The phenomenon of five classics utilizing five constant virtues, which formed and became extremely prevailing during the Han Dynasty, develops on the way of interpreting the classics, that is, running from simplified and individual summarization to systematic development of construction. The systematic needs of the five classics, the social requirements for practical use on mankind, and the integration between its features and meaning of five constant virtues, together with social background in Han as well as the analogizing thinking of Five Elements during early China, account for the appearance and recognition of five classics making use of five constant virtues. Because of these, Pentateuch turned to be characterized as systematization, relative resistance and usability. The occurrence and development of the phenomenon of five classics’utilizing five constant virtues directly influences both the improvement of five classics and the consolidation of the whole classics system which in turn endows the classics a sense of mystery and then consecrates them. After five classics’utilizing five constant, the system of five classics becomes increasingly sophisticated. Meanwhile, the authority of Confucian is constantly consolidated. Assuredly, there more or less exist far-fetch ideas in the process of five classics’matching to five constant virtues. Likewise, the classics will surely tend to be consecrated.
