In a nutshell, the musical form of nursery rhyme refers to the artisticcharacteristic which nursery rhyme is similar with music in language andform. This paper compares nursery rhyme with music by means of thetheory of linguistics, musicology, folklore, nursery rhyme literature,aesthetics and other disciplines. From music tone, music body and musicontology, three levels of the musical form of nursery rhyme, analyzed thelanguage and musical structure of nursery rhyme systematically andcomprehensively. The first chapter analyzed the nursery rhymes externalcharacteristics of the tone of the sound level. By the law of rhythm,syllable Dayton breaks and tone system of these three aspects of voice,nursery rhymes showed sonorous and melodious, rhythmic cadence ofmusical beauty. The second chapter is a discussion of nursery rhymestructure-music body characteristics. For using of combinations ofantithesis, parallelism, overlapping, repetitive structure, stimulants,figureof speech, Chain and QA systems,nursery rhymes seems so harmonious.The third chapter is the exploring of music ontology-the origin of thenursery rhyme music form. The human perception of the music of theworld, the rhythm of the lifestyle in traditional agricultural society, as well as the angelic lives of children determined the presence and featuresof music tone, music body, at the ontology level. The conclusioncriticized the Modern and Contemporary Chinese creative nursery rhymefrom the perspective of music form. Some nursery rhyme only weightcontent rather than the music form, the result is difficult to spread in thechildren’s verbal. To make the nursery rhymes really become children’sverbal ballads, we must start from the music form-whether it is the folkcollective creation or writer personal creation.
