During the Ming and Qing Dynasties novels include "Historicalnovels",”Hero-Legendnovels","The world situation novels","Supernaturalevil-spirit novels","Detective novels"etc. There are many popular novelsof script for story-telling is through the collation, written literature andbecome from oral literature, Such as"Romance of the Three Kingdoms ","Outlaws of the marsh","Three heroes and five gallants ","San Yan Er Pai".These written literature have also returned to the oral talking andsinging, for the popular novels, more or less to keep some legacy ofquality of music literature. There are some popular novels are mostly onthe social situation the world description, such as "Travel notes byLaocan "," Nie Hai Hua "," Dream of the Red Chamber",besides thesehistory books, not deliberately written in order to preserve some historicaldata, but unintentionally retained or reflect if dry materials, no to keep orreflect the fact, may at all kinds of books records also. This paper mainly about the folk musicperson records popular novels of Ming and Qing Dynasty as the object,these records and devoted to the study of Ming and Qing Dynasties musicactivities were compared, combined, to the Ming and Qing Dynasties folkmusic sources, composition, social status, art practice and so on, thus toform the understanding of "Drama Music Era" of public art andmorphologicalcharacteristics.Folk music is active in the folk, specializing in the art of musicperformance of single individuals or groups.
