In this paper, the research on the new HSK (five) effective readingstrategies.With the development of various undertakings in China, more and moreforeigners interested in Chinese language and culture. Many foreignersdue to a variety of needs and ready to participate or have participatedin the Chinese Proficiency Test. In fact, the Chinese in addition to theterritory of the Han Chinese ethnic minorities can participate in thisexam, but this is not discussed in this article. Therefore, the New HSKTest five participants talked about in this article is a non-Chineselearners of Chinese nationality.New HSK five consists of three parts: listening, reading, writing. Ialso participated in the examination of this level, but these three partsof the reading part is the hardest, and then I know a lot of candidatesat this level in reading, there are many problems. They want quickly andefficiently read, but varying degrees of obstacles encountered in theprocess of reading. Therefore, we need to research in order to help morecandidates on effective reading strategies to improve reading efficiency.The content of this paper is divided into three parts. The first partis the original HSK (Elementary, the medium) read part of the New HSK (5)read part of the comparison and analysis, the kinds of questions involved,questions, answer time; the second part is about the impact of the newHSK (5) the ability to read the factor analysis. In order to write thispart, I found by a new HSK5students, they were effective survey and fromthe candidate’s professional background, learning experiences, studyhabits, reading skills and other factors made a realistic analysis. Thethird section presents an effective strategy to improve the HSK (5)ability to read, including reasonable arrangements to do the titlesequence and timing, note reading and reading skills, develop good readinghabits as well as purposeful, targeted to expand your vocabulary to expandthe scope of knowledge.
