In the20th Century, western painting has gone through a complete liberationhistorically. Cézanne officially began the age of modern painting, followed by Picasso,Matisse on behalf of the abstractionism, expressionism，illusionism and all others.Getting rid of the fetter of traditional painting theories, Modernism shows intensiveyet profound expressionistic core both on innovative processing and unique creativeideology. What encouraged them to separate from the traditional majority? Themeaning of rebelling lies in expressing the relationship between themselves and themajority, but not to violate the objective. Just as Derrida’s Deconstructionism hadpushed the western tradition, Logocentrism—which has a history of thousands years,into the center of the storm, expressionistic artists begun to torn apart from traditionalwestern painting together with their exaggerate, intuitive concepts and evendictatorship.In this thesis, the meaning of "Deconstructive Thinking" not only refers toDerrida’s Deconstructionism. The traditional meaning of Deconstructionism is themost revolutionary and the most dominant philosophy in the20th Century. Itsinfluence spread widely to literature, linguistics, aesthetics, architecture, painting,music and other fields, in the meantime it also greatly impacted modernExpressionism painting in the field of arts. This thesis also includes "DeconstructiveThinking" that starts from the domain language of painting, visual effect and theconsciousness of creation. By deep thinking about the expressional approach of thepainting art and philosophy methodology, we should believe that the expressionalpainting goes together with deconstruction, and has caused many innovationalpossibilities that differ from previous works. Weather the art previses philosophy orphilosophy leads the art, we should believe that Deconstructive Thinking has anindelible effect to the study of Expressionism painting, Deconstructive Thinking ofExpressionism painting, it is more than a kind of external form of symbol, it existsalso in the structure of ideology with its strong driving force.
