On Chinese New Expressionism Painting Influenced By German Expressionism

Expressionism is a form of German painting art which was developed and formed by Drucke, DerBlaueReiterandNeue Sachlichkeit. It was prevalent in the field of modern art in Germany in 20th century and influenced in Northern Europe. The Expressionism of Chinese was formed in the 90s of 20th century when Chinese and western cultures, sciences and technologies were exchanged and merged rapidly. The movement in art of German Expressionism provided a reference model for Chinese painting and it sent a concept and mode of thinking in deep level.This paper used the ways of literature review, comparative analysis and logical argumentation to research the new expressionism of Chinese painting which was influenced by the expressionism of German art of painting in the early 20th century in order to seek the important contribution of Germany expressionism for Chinese art and to find the positive and negative factors of it which influenced Chinese art. The purpose is to study the excellent thoughts, technique of expression, etc, which will make up the shortage of the expressionism of Chinese art. Through studying, we could put forward the exchange and conversation of the East and West a deep step and make Chinese artists compose more expressionism works of their own based on inheriting the traditional painting skills and make them occupy a space in the world to get mature gradually.By studying,it has been discovered that the expressionism of Chinese is the chinization of German expressionism and it is also a continuation and evolution in Chinese art field based on Germany's. In this process, many expressionism painters appeared such as Wang Yuping, Shen Ling, Zhou Chunya and Jia Difei etc. They used the expressionism of Germany very well in theory, composition and color. They had a deep research and understanding in Chinese tradition art spirit and they made eastern art elite and aesthetic standards transit into modern time which fits people of contemporary era in painting idea, aesthetic style, language form and painting theory and so on to create a kind of expressionism which have tradition and modern, nation and world. However, many expressionism painters of Chinese haven't got rid of imitating blindly. They only laid emphasis on painting skills and couldn't open on painting structures and forms. They only developed by themselves and couldn't understand the essence of expressionism and the negative factors of the essence of culture.
