Literary Criticism Of Shi Shuo Xin Yu

Wei and Jin Dynasties is the period of literary consciously and literary theory andcriticism of development and maturity. Shi Shuo Xin Yu documented many literarytheory and criticism of the Wei and Jin Dynasties. This article is based on the text ofShi Shuo Xin Yu, from the three aspects of poetry theory, Cifu theory, prose theory,and conducted a comprehensive analysis of the Shi Shuo Xin Yu in literary criticism.This article will research the causes and development direction of literary criticism,and reveal the important role and significance of Shi Shuo Xin Yu.Introduction is about the studies of Shi Shuo Xin Yu from the literature theoriesaspect. Its purpose is to analyze former studies’ conclusions and identify problems, onthe basis of previous studies, analysis of literary criticism of Shi Shuo Xin Yu. And thispart determines the meaning of literary criticism.In addition to the introduction, this article is divided into three chapters:The first chapter is poetic theory of Shi Shuo Xin Yu. This section focuses on twoaspects of the content: First, Shi Shuo Xin Yu reference to the Book of Songs; Second,the thinking of poem independent. On the one hand, poetry and criticism are stillunder the influence of the classics in Han Dynasty. On the other hand, poetry andcriticism attempt to get independent development. Because of this, poetry criticism inWei and Jin Dynasties is complex and contradictory, showing its unique aestheticstyle.The second chapter is Cifu theory of Shi Shuo Xin Yu. This section focuses onthree aspects of the content: First, the content of Cifu theoretical; Second, the modusof Cifu theoretical; Third, the causes and significance of Cifu theoretical. TheScholar’s emphasis on the use of Cifu and tend to research the content of Cifu. Theyalso combinative of the theory and comments figures. It can be seen that criticism ofCifu had a very important influence on the development of the Cifu theory.The third chapter is prose theory of Shi Shuo Xin Yu. This section focuses onthree aspects of the content: First, Shi Shuo Xin Yu reference to The Analects; Second, historical thought of Shi Shuo Xin Yu; Third, the Metaphysics of Shi Shuo Xin Yu.From the contents can be seen that Confucianism, historical thought, Metaphysicshave different effects on the development of literature. And the predecessor’s proses,like The Analects, the Historical Records, have a great impact on the prose theory ofWei and Jin Dynasties.
