In recent years, the combination of English education and information technology is becoming more and more popular, not only for the virtual world of the Internet provides a new space for Chinese people to communicate, but also contributes to the growing interest in English. At the same time, the communication by using the exchange of Chinese-English on the Internet has become a fashion as well as an integral part of Internet communication. Micro-blogging is a popular instant messaging system, which was introduced in2006. Code-switching between Chinese-English can be found in this mini-blog, but these expressions and forms in code-switching may not be so rich. Although a growing number of scholars and researchers have recently come to focus on the phenomenon of code-switching and have done a lot of research in this phenomenon, in code-switching in micro-blogging the research data are not very substantial.In this paper, the author uses the micro-blogging code-switching as the research object, by collecting micro-blogging more than three hundred as corpus from several major portals in the Internet, and then analyzes the Chinese-English code-switching sentences of these micro-bloggings. Firstly, this paper makes a brief introduction of the significance of the study and the structural framework of the paper, which also includes a brief narrative of the Chinese-English code-switching and code-switching micro-blogging found in the theory and corpus. Secondly, this paper focuses on corpus research links—classification of collected micro-blogging and analysis of the results. In this article, the author analyses the micro-blogging code-switching phenomenon based on the theory of adaptation of sociolinguistics. Finally, this paper gives some commentary on relevant results and summarizes the main findings of the study, which are the functions and reasons of code-switching in micro-blogging. It also reveals the inadequacy of the research process and gives suggestions for future research.
