Digital Relief Heritage To The Image Of Women In Dazu Rock Carvings

As the model of the Chinese late grotto culture, Dazu Rock Carvings not only inherited all kinds of art style from previous generation, but also much more innovation was created, so it has the important position that connects the past and future in the Chinese ancient grottoes art history. Due to the foreign culture is invaded by specific traditional Chinese culture, the characters of Dazu Rock Carvings have been increasingly nationalization,localization and secularization, especially some secular female image for carved stone which has unique Chinese flavor, such as the Bodhisattva, Flying goddess, village women and girls, etc; Their distinctive and beautiful characteristic bring us different aesthetic sense.In this study, through several field trips of female statues, looking up and collecting a large number of relevant literature information, as well as collecting the related information for digital relief, further study the female image of the digital relief heritage was made by comprehensive use of the theories and methods of art, aesthetics, iconography, the study of comparative, folklore, history and other subjects.Firstly, classified research for female image of Dazu Rock Carvings was made from the aspect of theme, styling, the costumes and carving techniques;and then analyzed and discussed digital relief art from the aspect of rise and development, performance characteristics and advantages; finally, digital relief heritage and development of analysis to the typical image of women was made in the form of legend and case. Female image of Dazu Rock Carvings will be driven to shine new vitality by the new art form and expression, as well as the modern digital technology, and then achieve the perfect combination of tradition and modern. The purpose of this study lies in restore real female images in the north and south Song Dynasties digitally and dissemination of ideology and cultural behind the stone statues, and try to explore that digital relief is a new ways to inherit Dazu Rock Carvings which is the world cultural heritage.
