Digital Display Research On Dazu Rock Carving Art Resources

Dazu stone sculpture is the late representation work of grotto in China.Because of its important art history and science value,Dazu stone sculpture was released as the first batch national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council in 1961,and the world culture heritage by UNESCO in 1999.By more than thousand years of exposing to the weather and runoff erosion,rock weathering?eboulement?pigment aging and other problems have appeared in Dazu stone sculpture,which make its conservation environment more and more serious.On the other side,tourism has gradually become people' s important way for entertainment and leisure.Because of rich tourist culture resource,Chongqing draws lots of domestic and foreign vasitors.As the famous culture brand of Chongqing,Dazu stone sculpture becomes a popular place when people have trip in Chongqing.The rapid growth of visitors put tremendous pressure to the protection and development of historic and cultural relics of Dazu stone sculpture.How to balance the relationship of the protection of Dazu stone sculpture and development of Dazu stone sculpture,which becomes a focus issue for people who have research on Dazu stone sculpture.In addition,With by the progress of science,traditional single display can' t meet the needs of audience.Attributed to the digital protection and display successful experiences of Mogao Caves and other large-scale grottoes,using digital technique to protect and display Dazu stone sculpture has come to a general agreement.This paper mainly studies the necessity?implementation and significance of Dazu stone sculpture digital display.This paper gives focus on the classification and features of display content,and explores the way of digital display of Dazu stone sculpture.How to realize the digital display is the key points of this paper.
