In academic field, the scholar who do researches of DuYu is a great many, and it has obtained the good results.Indeed, there are still some fails which are not clear about it.In view of this, this article is aimed at digging out the space in the reseach, and give interpretations of the myth.Myth exists as an independent individual, it has its specific processes in the evolution of the development, at the same time, the myth is also as the product of collective wisdom, so it must adhere to a certain period of the social connotation and faith.Myth is just lick a mirror, the surface of it shows the face of the myth itself, inside, it contains the time’s change, therefore the interpretation of myth may reveal The Times background and cultural connotation behind it. Acorrding to it,I’d like to make the following arrangements:The first part is the introduction, first of all,it explains why I choose this topic.Next,the article shows the researches to cuckoo myths. I found that the current academic circles about the myths’analysis exists defects and deficiencies, and I try to release space in the myth, and make preliminary planning of research ideas.The second part is analysis of cuckoo myth which is mainly from the text analysis and gods、motif、cultural connotation.The deconstruction and interpretation of the text contains the comparation between ancient text and oral text.Trough analysis,we can draw a conclusion of culture trait.Moreover,it is deconstruction and interpretation of Cuckoo myth which is beyond the text.It includes three aspects:one is analysis of the main mythical figure——Cuckoo and Turtle, from the spirit of archetypal deities and variation; The second is analysis and deconstruction to some key motifs "demise’"、water-related motif、 Cuckoo; The third aspect is explaintion of ancient Shu in the myth.The fifth part is the conclusion:make a summary to this paper,and get the pithy essence of the argument, and put forward outlook to scholars. The last part is epilogue:it briefly illustrates the thesis’s writing process, as well as give a summary to the three years’s student life.Cuckoo myth is like a pearl, shining in the historical books, being active in literati’s works. This article is to parsing and exploring it, if we want that this myth’s treasure is really dug out, it also needs the joint efforts of scholars.
