It is been always important in Chinese culture that to be Courtesy demandsreciprocity, according to The books of Rites, Courtesy demands reciprocity, it is notpropriety not to give out but to receive, or vice versa, Courtesy on one side only lasts notlong. Porcelain gifts are not just normal gifts which could improve the relationshipbetween people, but also embody and express the traditional Chinese culture. Besides,those gifts could also present friendship or love as well as the friendliness and cultivationthat the alienator has. Therefore, Porcelain gifts are very popular since produced.Business gifts becoming more and more important, in the wake of society continuingimprovement, covered all around the world. Target to exploring the relationship betweenculture of propriety and Porcelain gifts for business, this article would try to embodythe propriety from the four factors including: design, decorating pattern, color and thepackage design. As a cultural signal, propriety has been borrowed to develop thedesign of Porcelain gifts, it is helpful for the development of Porcelain gifts design, todefinite the advantages of propriety design, it could be better way to present theparticularity of our culture, as the state of ceremonies. It is also profoundly proved, fromthe value and meaning of academic study, that it is helpful for the design of Porcelaingifts.
