This thesis mainly concerns the comparative analysis of the characteristics of the poetrys between the two famous poets, one is Chinese famous poet, Wang Wei, and the other is Yin Shandao from Korea. The purpose of this thesis is to search the similarity between the two kinds of poetries through comparatively analyzing. Both the two poets play important roles in their fields and the analysis of each masterpiece is comprehensive and rich. However, the counter of the comparatively study of their works is limited. Therefore, the comparative study of their masterpieces owns a momentous significance in the field of poetry research.Both China and Korea have a time honored history, similar cultural background and close neighborhood, moreover, they belong to the same cultural circle of Han. Therefore, ancients of Korean are deeply influenced by Chinese culture and formed a keen interest on Sinology.The study of this thesis is taken from the experiences of the two poets combining with the historical background. Search for the similarities and differences of their poetries and illustrate the reasons, so that to enrich the comparatively analysis of the two kinds of poetries.The thesis consists of four chanters for analyzing.The first chapter mainly focuses on the purpose, significance, methods and situation of the research.The second chapter set off from the experiences of the two poets combining with their masterpieces which created in different periods. The research mainly concerning that the unfortunate in their official career impels them go far away from the official circles and to live in seclusion. This is the key motivation that the poets start to create the Chinese pastoral poetries. Wang Wei failed to show his talent skills on politics, so he takes a negative attitude to life. In contrast, Yin Shandao owns a different view from Wang Wei, but because of suffering the persecution of the confederates, he is frequently sending to the distant exiles. In this period of time, he starts his life of half official and half seclusion. Because of the character of upright and outspoken, Tin Shandao created many natural poems which win universal praises during his life of seclusion.The third chapter consists of four parts to make analysis. The study compares the characteristics on the basis of the materials, artistic conception and the poetic style of natural poems, analyzes the similarities and differences between their creations on the poetries. A large number of their pastoral poetries are created in their periods of seclusion on the Wang Chuan and Pu Ji Island. Because their living houses are all their manmade works and own a land of idyllic beauty, this adds their poetries some color of paradise on earth. But at the same time, they fail to express the real life of people.The fourth chapter summarizes the former three chapters’points, concludes and explains the similarities and differences of the two poets on their masterpieces in details.
