Happiness is the human constant pursuit of the ultimate value of the goal is a timeless philosophical proposition. Different social background and living conditions caused by the differences on the concept of happiness and selectivity. Throughout the ages, many philosophers of happiness own unique insights and perspectives, which Marx’s concept of happiness is the most abundant and profound, affecting also the most wide-ranging and long-lasting. Its investigation has certain theoretical significance and practical value is one of the hot topics of academic research. Marx his life thinking about the happiness of the theme, and continue the pursuit of happiness of the proletariat and the toiling masses of the theory of creation and the actual struggle elaborated writings written in different periods of the specific content of the concept of happiness and well-being fundamental goal is raised to the height of the "human liberation" and "freedom and comprehensive development". This article by reading Marx original and relevant literature, intended to clarify the basic idea of the Marxist concept of happiness, content and Contemporary Enlightenment feasible ways and means for people to pursue and achieve happiness.This article is divided into three main parts:The first part, the main carding the approximate trajectory of the development of the Marxist concept of happiness. First, the background of Marx concept of happiness is described, namely the Industrial Revolution provided the material for its production of the premise, the proletariat is its class basis, the traditional concept of happiness ideological information for its generation. Second, the formation of the Marxist concept of happiness is a gradual process of development, bud, change, mature and deepen the historical stage of development has gone through the writings of Marx written in different periods set forth the specific content of the concept of happiness. Conclude a fundamental turn of the Marxist concept of happiness, that happiness theoretical basis points by the school turned to historical materialism; happy subject by an individual to the class and the class.The second part focuses on the main content of Marx’s concept of happiness. First, Marx understand the basic source of happiness generated by practice, the real subject of the happiness expressed as social relations summarized as happy unity of material life and spiritual life, and the social division of labor and social interaction a necessary condition to achieve happiness, the liberation movement of the proletariat is an effective way to achieve happiness, and the communist social system to protect human happiness. Second, the basic features of Marx’s concept of happiness is the class nature and revolutionary objective laws, and the world-historical, and individual subjectivity and selectivity.The third part, to further examine the contemporary significance of Marx’s concept of happiness. The theoretical value of Marx’s concept of happiness, not only conducive to overcome and correct the flaws and shortcomings of the conventional concept of happiness, but also provides a theoretical basis for out of the current social misunderstanding of the concept of happiness and help. Marx’s concept of happiness have positive practical significance, important inspiration for the current construction of a harmonious society; the happiness obtained to rely on economic construction, political reform and spiritual civilization enhance, objective way of reform of social management and ecological civilization as well as the subjective approach to personal self-adjustment.
