After the founding of NewChina, especially after the1988, Hainan Island became a special economic zone, theeconomic and social sustained of Hainan Island had a healthy development in the continuousrapid track. A new local chronicles which is different from the previous records has becomethe common aspiration of the whole society. Along with the changes of the times, the progressof the society, the reform of traditional local records, creating new records become anobjective demand,"Hainan provincial local records" operating born.
