This paper firstly defines the movie trailer, and elucidates its development.The article is divided into four chapters, the first chapter discusses the communicators of Chinese Movie Trailer, from the film issuers and the trailer makers to explain why Chinese Movie Trailer plays an important role in film releasing since the21th century. The second chapter firstly discusses the media platforms for movie trailer, including traditional media and some other new media, such as network, mobile TV etc. Secondly, it is about the text analysis for Chinese movie trailer, including the film source materials, structure, external rhythm and the superstar effect.The third chapter is the audience analysis. Because the requirement of the audience is different, Movie Trailer should meet the different needs of people. On the basis of the "Focus Media",this concept has made an effect on the development of the types of Movie Trailer.The fourth chapter focuses on the communication effects of Chinese Movie Trailer. Macroscopically speaking, Movie Trailer is a Agenda Setting,and at the same time,it is also the Spiral Of Silence.Moreover, owing to the additive persuading,movie trailer encourage the audience go to the film ultimately. In the epilogue, it discusses the problems of the current Trailer publicity.
