On The Mother Figure Of Family Ethic Teleplays Since The New Century

Influence of traditional Chinese culture, mother figure is one of the most popular characters of movies and TV series especially in the family ethic teleplays. since the new century, The image of the mother of the family ethics teleplays experienced by the traditional to the modern transformation. The mother start by attachment select transition to the fun, they are beginning to pursue Independent feminist consciousness and pay attention to self-expression in family and society.Status for the current study,the article analyzes and researches the image of the mother of the family ethics teleplays since the new century on the basis of the feminist theory and critique of culture.The article main body part is three chapters.The first chapter studies on the traditional mother figure of the family ethics drama, shows the male chauvinism system which hides in the traditional mother’s image, what’s more, the thesis investigates the reason of why the traditional mother is so popular.The second chapter expounds the independent feminist consciousness and cultural implication of the modern mother figure of the family ethic teleplays from the feminist perspective.The last chapter discusses mainly about a special type of mother figure that is the figure of stepmother,divides further into good stepmother and evil stepmother, and analyzes the psychological or culture reasons of two different types of stepmother.
