On The Poetry Creation Of Victory Yankovskaya

There are over one hundred writers of Russian expatriates in China, who are really agalaxy of talents. Victoria Jankowskaya is one representative of them.This paper is to studyVictoria Jankowskaya’s creation of poetry: her creation career, herstyle of poems, her art achievement and her belonging of literature trend of thought.In Chapter one, the poet was Russian, who became an émigré after exiling to China dueto building Chinese Eastern Railway and the October Revolution in Russia. She came toHarbin and became an expatriate residing in Harbin. However, Victoria Jankowskaya residednot only in Harbin, but in Korea, in Japan and in America, etc. as well. During the period ofbeing in Harbin, she created a great number of poems included in the collections publishedlater, such as Roaming about Countries, etc.. In Chapter Two, the poet showed her differentcharacteristics of creation during different periods, such as perfect combination of scenes,change of life resulting in the one of subject, the obvious autobiography. In the deepviewpoint of art style, Victoria Jankowskaya’s works are greatly influenced by Chineseculture, for example, Buddhism culture, Chinese history, etc.. In Chapter Three, VictoriaJankowskaya, though a female, was fond of hunting. So, she had traversed the length and breadthof the Lesser Xing’an Mountains and Zhangguangcai Mountains. Just because of the specialexperience of hunting, Victoria Jankowskaya were not only seeking for puzzlement andhappiness of life but also offering the world too many impressive poems. Chapter Fourdiscusses the belonging of her literature creation: any writer cannot separate oneself from hisera and any literature works will belong to a certain literature trend of thought. AcademicianLiYan ling put forward theories, such as ‘Harbin Critical Realism’ and ‘Harbin Silver Age’,which have been approved by scholars at home and abroad. Based on these theories, IanalyzeVictoria Jankowskaya’s poems and I think Victoria Jankowskaya’s poem creation bothbelongs to ‘Harbin Critical Realism’ and ‘Harbin Silver Age’.
