The development of Gannan Tea-picking Opera is on the basis of tea-picking songs, tea-picking lantern dances, Gannan local folk songs and dances. It’s a result of progressive development from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The theme of Gannan Tea-picking Opera is related to locals’daily life, on the other hand it reflect local conditions and customs. It’s popular region is south of Jiangxi.Gannan Tea-picking Opera is one of the outstanding traditional culture in Jiangxi province. It is also an important part of Chinese local operas.Gannan Tea-picking Opera’s language is based on the Hakka dialect. The pronounciation is a result of Hakka dialect, but it is a little different from the local natural spoken language. The evolution of Gannan Tea-picking Opera’s phonology is based on Hakka dialect, ancient characteristics significantly. At the same time, by the mandarin and background difference, the influence on the phonology of Gannan Tea-picking Opera is different and not unified. To help solve the pronunciation problem during the inheritance and development of Gannan Tea-picking Opera, We formulate a phonology system of Gannan Tea-picking Opera, according to the investigation from the perspective of phonology and the rhyming feature about characteristics match. The phonology system of Gannan Tea-picking Opera is just for reference.
