Jiangxi province has been honored to be a state of operas from Song Yuan dynasty. Nanchang Tea-picking Opera is a main one of local operas in Jiangxi province, which is very popular among the local people. This dissertation aims to study the Phonology of Nanchang Tea-picking Opera .In the paper, we obtain the phonologicals of Nanchang Tea-picking Opera and Tacheng dialect by survey. The dissertation mainly compares the Phonological of Nanchang Tea-picking Opera with the phonological of Tacheng dialect. From this, we find that the phonologicals of the two have strong consistency. So Nanchang Tea-picking Opera is a local opera which uses local dialect as basic language.Besides, the paper describes the rhyme of Nanchang Tea-picking Opera. After investigation, we find that the libretto in Nanchang Tea-picking Opera has been written by using "Thirteen Points" which is a phonology using by many Chinese famous operas, such as Beijing Opera .In order to describe the characteristics of Nanchang Tea-picking Opera, the dissertation analyzes one part of "Hutchison Pumpkin" and discusses the relation of the pronunciation of Nanchang Tea-picking Opera and the music tune of Nanchang Tea-picking Opera.Through the description and analysis, the paper draws three conclusions. First, the phonologicals of Nanchang Tea-picking Opera and Tacheng dialect have strong consistency but a few differences. Second, the pronunciation of Nanchang Tea-picking Opera and the music tune of Nanchang Tea-picking Opera also have strong consistency. Third, Nanchang Tea-picking Opera should reserve the dialect features of birthplace in the future.
