Chinese landscape painting is sophisticated, while the use of ink and water is a veryimportant display language in the landscape painting creation process. After years ofexploration and summary in their creation process, the Accumulate-ink method was finallycreated by painters.In this article, Li Keran was taken as a pointcut to brief analyze the practice ofAccumulate-ink method in traditional Chinese landscape painting techniques as well as itsprofound aesthetic characteristics.This article is divided into a total of three chapters.After brief introduction to the esthetics characteristic manifested in the thick withAccumulate-ink method in the first chapter, the second chapter analyzed the thick beauty ofaccumulate-ink method from Li Keran’s painting, In the third chapter, it summarized theaesthetic connotation of the thick beauty of accumulate-ink method and Chinese traditionalthought and culture. The skills of landscape painting are changing all the time, and it’s notdifficult to find in the studying and research of accumulate-ink method that skill is just a kindof means, instead of objectives of painting, which actually serves for the presenting of thecontent. The use of accumulate-ink method emphasize that we need high skillfulness andpainting consciousness to show ideology and spirit of the time.
