Doris Lessing, the famous contemporary British writer, whose "the Golden Notebook" published in1962is a classic of English literature in twentieth Century, which has established her status and prestige in the history of contemporary literature."The Golden Notebook" shows the turbulent world situation and the split mental outlook of the people in the1950s through the description of the protagonist Anna’s personal life and the pursuit, which also constitutes the thinking and exploration of a writer on contemporary social life, beliefs, literature and aesthetic form. This novel shows reforms and attempts boldly in the art form, this paper tries to explore the artistic skills of "the Golden Notebook" from the narrative structure and techniques of expression based on the results of previous studies."The Golden Notebook" is composed of an entitled "free women" novella and black, red, yellow, blue, gold five notebooks together, narrative structure seems to be tousy fragments, actually is a need in form of this profound theme Anna from the splitting of the ego to integration."The narrative structure of "the golden notebook" achieves the transformation from the traditional linear narrative to the multiple narrative scene, this narrative structure mainly includes two aspects of the narrative structure of space and space construction in the psychology of the characters."The Golden Notebook" also uses the writing techniques of postmodern novel, such as parody, collage, montage techniques in order to show the inner world of Anna splitting, multiple characters and chaos, confusion.Lessing breaks the structure model of the traditional novel, continues originality and innovating, reconstructs a unique mode of creation;"the Golden Notebook" is successful reflection of such a mode of creation...
