Current research on Chinese urban movies generally focus on two periods in the20th century, four decades after the reform and opening up a new period of twenty years, the relative lack of urban film studies in the new century, it is this through the city Film Studies in the21st century, the history of the evolution of the urban movie sort out depth comparative analysis of its artistic dimension and cultural characteristics, as well as to explore the issues and developments in the new urban movie way out.
