Then the chapter talks about the poem imagery and east color conception in his drawing, which gives a way to understand the relationship between east traditional culture and Zhu’s abstractrepresentation; this realizes the creation and syncretizing of east and west culture. The third chapterdescribes the relationship between Zhu’s art thought and the modern Chinese art, as well as the art spirit inhis drawing. The new surveillance on china’s modern art arising by Zhu Dequn when he injects east artspirit into his drawing, brings the inspiration of his art notion of east-west combination for modern china’sdrawings. The conclusion of this paper does not mean that every artist of abstract representing has theappropriate role to represent the east spirits, however, the full art experience of Zhu Dequn provides an evidence for that china’s traditional culture spirits make much sense and play an important role in modernart.
