"Marvin Collins’Way" is Marvin Collins’autobiography. It mainly talks about Marvin’steaching method. This paper selected the seventh and eighth chapters of the book, which talkabout the difficulties Marvin encountered in the establishment of the school. In view of this, Ihope it will be helpful to the readers.The significance of Selecting the two chapters，which described somethings of Marvinexperienced in the1960s and1970s, while is being staged in China. Our children， ruralteachers in the countryside, their experience the same things which happened in Marvin, sothe translation of the book has a strong characteristics of the times, and it can guide our vastrural parents, teachers, and let them have a mentor to guide the education issue of the child,perhaps this is my maximum power to translate the book.The translation task is divided into four parts: the preparation before translation, thetrouble shooting during the translation, review and editing after the translation, and the reportwriting. The report is the record of the translation process, the theoretical basis involved andthe analysis of specific strategies to solve the problems in the translation. Finally, it is my ownexperiences in the translation of the report.
