Pronunciation in Song dynasty is a important period in thedevelopment of pronunciation on Chinese.The Chinese pronunciationmakes a great change during this period,which is a transition fromancient times to modern times. Mr ZhOU Zumo is the first person ofresearching Songdaibianluoyuyinkao,which studies the pronunciation ofBianluo in Song dynasty.it is based on Huangjijingshishengyinchanghetuof SHAO Yong and rhyme of poetry written by nine authors inBianluo.Then scholars make a obvious improvement by researching therhyme in Fujian、Jiangxi、Shandong and Jiangzhe.The songs in Songdynasty is usually written by emperor or official people.This essay makea conclude about characteristic of dialect in Song dynasty.By analysis exactly and research on songs in Song dynasty,Thesystem of rhyme in Songs during Song dynasty is accord with usual pron- -unciation,which reflect the change of usual pronunciation,for example:Hui rhyme category and Hekou of Tai rhyme fall into Zhiwei category;the labial initial characters in Youhou fall into Yumo;the char--acter ofDe fall into Wuzhu. The article has generalized their system whichconsists of20rhyme categories.The irregular rhyme includes:Zhiweiwith Yumu、Yumu with Youhou、Jiehai with Zhiwe、Zhenwen withGengqing、Zhenwen with Qinxun、Wuzhu with Dezhi,some of thesereflect the dialect in Bianluo during Song dynasty, some of these reflectthe influence of Wu dialect to usual language.
