| In the context of globalization, with the era of development and economic integration of scienceand technology, it appears more and more multinational personnel and immigration, so different typesof cultural contacts and cultural exchanges are becoming more frequent. It’s a hotspot question abouttransnational immigrants’ acculturation and identity in the underground of the new mainstream culture.Acculturation and adaptation also gradually became the focus of attention. At present, there are moreand more researches on transnational immigrant acculturation. The study of cross-cultural adaptationbased on the theory of multidimensional model and cultural structure, analysing the Donggan People’sacculturation and adaptation and integrated elements of the results of the discussion on the influence ofacculturation and adaptation, and the hierarchy features in the process of acculturation and adaptation.First of all, this paper does a simple sort about present researches on the transnational acculturationand adaptation and the related study on Donggan People. Secondly, analyzing the hierarchicalcharacteristics of the theoretical model and the cross-cultural adaptation as the main theoretical basis forthis study. The main part of the paper contains three chapters, including the cultural origin of DongganPeople, the Donggan People’s mainstream culture encounter, as well as the Donggan People’s processof adaption respectively, and study its acculturation and adaptation’s process and results from thematerial culture, behavior culture, system culture, spiritual culture. So we can know that acculturationand adaptation is the result of the interacts with mainstream culture attitude and non-mainstreamcultural attitude and other varieties of factors. |
