Shennong Emperor ia not only an agricultural God and pharmaceuticalGod, but also the ancestor of the Chinese nation,.It’s a still circulating folk belief, and the peopleof belief are widely distributed.Now,Yandi Shennong belief ring formed in Shanxi, Shanxi,Hunan, Hubei and other places.The Shennong belief of Shanxi Province spreads throughout the southeastern region,and itspreads Jincheng city and Changzhi city as the center of Yangtou mountain of Gaopingcity.There the main god is agricultural god.It’s a result of endemic geographicalenvironment,spatial structure and time system materialized there,also the people on the survivalof the state of the additional demand.It’s also a construction of the spiritual life of people besidesthe practice activities.Zhuangli village of Gaoping city in Shanxi province is a space Yandi Shennong beliefformed and spread so far, and it has a unique worship of Yandiling.So this paper will take YandiShennong belief as the research object.Taking the existing Wugu Temple as the spatial cues ofstudy, the historical evolution of the local village’s Shennong belief and the materialization of theremains of inscriptions as time cues,conduct a comprehensive analysis of Yandi Shennong beliefof Zhuangli village in Caoping city.And study the worship of village god base on the beliefspace and time,to reflect the people’s thinking on living, as well as the establishment of the godsorder, but also the memory of the history of the village, then discuss the relationship betweenpeople’s belief and daily life.Zhuangli village helds on the temple of Wugu Temple on April eightevery year.This temple affacts people in six villages, from the Ming and Qing Dynasties theearliest joint constructing the temple to the Republic shetou organizating the temple and to nowthe villages’s joint,they’re joint mechanism of villages.Belief organizations formed later theactive participation of the people from the first control of the local gentry, and now the Shennongbelief organizations form.
