Bi-constituent sentences are one of the common Chinese special structures, it’s used frequently in the daily life. In the outline of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, it has also been listed as a structure that should have learned in the primary stage. However, because Chinese is a language that lack of morphological changes, nominative and accusative have no remarkable case markers, Bi-constituent sentences can be easily confused with "liandong" sentence, double-object sentence,"zhuwei" sentence. Plus, the study of Bi-constituent in the area of Chinese itself and teaching Chinese as a foreign languages have not be combined perfectly, it added the difficulties for Thai students acquainting Bi-constituent sentences. This research, basing on the Second Language Acquisition theory, through the forms of doing questionnaires, discovery and solve some problems, hoping the suggestions would be useful in second language teaching.There are five chapters in this paper.Chapter one introduces the background, the objective reason and significance of the research, research methods and the materials of investigation.Chapter two investigating and analyzing Thai students’ study of Bi-constituent sentences, according to right answers, we modify the acquisition sequence of these kind of Bi-constituent sentences.Chapter three investigating and analyzing nine kinds of Bi-constituent sentences, sums up the different right percent and types the errors in the usage of them.Chapter four giving some advices on the teaching methods of Bi-constituent sentences.Chapter five summarizing the conclusions drawn in this paper.
