Multi-dimensional Analysis Of "Xi Huan" Synonym

Basing on the research of synonyms and second language acquisition,with theprevious achievements,this thesis make multi-dimensional analysis of the differenceof "xi huan" synonym such as "xi huan","xi ai","xi hao" and "ai hao".We attempt tofind some principles and hope that it could provide some valuable reference forsecond language acquisition and better for our language practice.Six parts are concluded in this thesis:The first part is the introduction,after indicate the reason and value of thewriting,we make a summarizing of existing results by predecessors,including thesynonym research and the synonym of "xi huan".Then indicate the corpus andmethods source of the research.The second part is the syntax analysis,syntactic function,grammatical structureand co-occurrence analysis. We found that "xi huan" tend to be predicate,subjectivity,low stability,"xi ai" tend to be predicate and attributive,"xi hao" tend tobe predicate and object,with a degree of righteousness and high stability,"ai hao"tend to be subject and object."xi huan" and "xi ai" belongs to "emotional" type,while"xi hao" and "ai hao" belongs to "conative" class.The third part is the semantic analysis.This part simply analyse the developmentof meaning of "xi huan" synonym and inductive the modern semantic differences.Inancient time "xi huan" tend to be adjective more than verb,only acts as predicate."xiai" tend to be predicate verb."xi hao" have the same basic meaning and usage ofancient and modern.Today,the semantic of "xi huan" focus on the morpheme"xi","xiai" focus on the morpheme"ai","xi hao" and "ai hao" focus on the morpheme"hao".The fourth part is pragmatic analysis.In the stylistic choice,"xi huan" and "aihao" tend to colloquial,while "xi ai" and "xi hao" in favor of documented.In terms ofsubjectivity,"xi huan" have high subjective,"xi hao" and "ai hao" have a strongobjectivity.The fifth part is bias analysis.The survey found that foreign students often makebiased errors of "xi huan" synonym on POS confusion,dynamic auxiliarymisuse,mismatches,context confusion,semantic confusion and mixed bias.Then weattempt to make a simple teaching suggestions,hoping to be helpful.The last part is collusion.Summarized the basic content and revert the mainideas of this thesis.
