"Sense of order" by E.H.Gombrich is the psychological cognitive theoreticalresults in the field of pure design specific applications and advanced development.This book is adhering to narratives and interpretation methods of the book "Sense oforder" to investigate the existence of a sense of order in the visual communicationdesign, as the concept of sense of order is complex inherently, author use a lot of textto interpret the concept and emphasize the presence of objective necessity in the artform in the beginning. The focus of the research lies in the three aspects: the naturalorder, physiological order, psychological order, it’s to perceive the presence of a senseof order in the visual communication design, including how to perceive the visualcommunication in design works. Our mind is how to deal with structure in order,psychological reasons and the effect of these structures. General design method isdifferent from theoretical research, trying to make a more comprehensiveunderstanding of the content of the research.The text can be divided into the following three parts by a logical relationship:Chapter One: the relationship between the order of the words solution and orderhistory and culture, to prove evidence of the existence of reasonable order. From theorder term solution of East and Western, and gradually advanced to thecorrespondence between the culture. Humans are the product of the natural evolution,human and nature is a corresponding while dialectical relationship in unity stressedargument. On one hand, it’s accorded to Chinese philosophy; on the other hand,there’s a limit for people to transform nature, and should conform to the laws ofnature’s own development. therefore state of development is harmonious, balancedand in order in line with the philosophical way of thinking, to understand thingsduring the change and development perspective. From an aesthetic point of view, nomatter what times it is, the art form will be returned to which the abstract plane orderwith the great masters of the spiritual realm. This chapter provides a reasonableexistence in historical dimension for further study.Chapter Two: the theoretical foundation of this article, E.H.Gombrich’s sense oforder-the Art Deco psychology research to explore the connotation of thetheoretical basis. It combines the concepts and extension of the sense of order,respectively, from the philosophical theory, psychology, information theory andbiology to improve the theoretical construction of his visual arts studies. The latterpart of this chapter, turn to the study about the art form, providing delineated thescope of the study.Chapter Three: This chapter adopt the theory and practice combined, design andanalysis the perception of the existence of a sense of order in the visualcommunication of the empirical philosophy. The main source of the visual experience of visual communication design perception of the natural order, physiological sense oforder in order to achieve the psychological order and aesthetic psychologicalisomorphic. This chapter tells the three aspects: the natural order, physiological order,psychological order. Which perceive the presence of a sense of order in the visualcommunication design, with a specific case between the sense of order in the visualcommunication design concepts and case studies combine in order to be applied to thedesign of the psychological theory of the sense of order, and provide a reliable basisfor the study of aesthetics and useful attempt to create them.
