Poster design are closely linked with the development of the social economic level, degree of industrial civilization. The more economic developed, the higher level poster design and making reached. Remarkable achievements in the world graphic design masters gained, all because of their excellence in poster design and being famous for impressive works. Posters as a form of advertising art, can reflect the form of graphic design features mostly, the basic visual design elements, the main design idea, language expression, makes post more typicality and representative than other advertising media. Diversity transmission mode under the background of information age, advocation science and technology leaping development, update of ideology, thinking more open and inclusive, makes the form of modern poster design shown the characteristics of "multi-dimensional", emphasis on diversification of visual elements, paying attention to all kinds of performance materials mining and applications, poster design content expanded to other areas, the traditional graphic media begin to transform to solid, virtual, multi-dimensional direction for living space. Frequent international cultural collision and exchanging, promote the progress of economic and cultural globalization, internationalization and popularization of the poster design is more and more attract the attention of people, designers will be put the national character, regional characteristics into the poster design, in the new historical period the tradition of poster design, show the future, continuous innovation and development.According to this paper, the poster design information of semantic expression from the perspective of advertising and design in-depth to explore, cause the attention of designers and thought, promote the poster design in the application and development of society. Semantic representation in poster design information is the topic of the research, to find and reveal the characteristics and laws of poster design semantic performance, formation of poster design semantic information comprehensive research. Innovation is the modern design concept revolving into the poster design, in the context of the search for the corresponding way to convey information as the main body of the language, the poster design of visual semantic expression method of systematic and theoretical summary, instructional designer based on local, explores personal style and fulfill the social responsibility, to the future, think of the poster design and research services to the society.
