| From now on, Kant’s ethics is regarded as the representative of the classicaldeontology. Undeniable, the conception of duty takes a very important role in Kantianethics. Kant layed stress on the purity of moral law and, he thought that, as rationalprinciple, the moral law should without emotional and empirical elements, at thesame time, it should also without any influences of the moral subject. People’s moralactions come out with the respect of moral law, which reflects the following of theuniversal and compulsory categorical imperative. Meanwhile, Kant had put forwardthree groups of compulsory propositions, which show its full meaning. In addition,though within the discussion of the conception of virtue, there showed a tightcombination with duty. Thus, many people regarded Kantian ethics as ethics of duty,However, in my point of view, Kantian ethics belongs to the category of virtueethics. So, we will try to research the essence and the truth of Kant’s theory of ethicsin the horizon of virtue. In this article, I discuss Kantian ethics in four aspects. Firstly,I point out the important historical position of Kant’s ethics. Secondly, I inspectKant’s understanding of virtue and then reveal kant’s thoughts of virtue and itsfunction. Thirdly, I show the logical order of Kantian ethics and the features of thelogical construction of his theory organically. Fourthly, I also briefly discuss themeaning of Kantian virtue ethics. Actually, as we think, Kantian ethics inherentlycontained the contents of virtue and, that is the reason why and what we did in thisarticle.Here what is need to be realizing is that we interpret Kant’s theory in a newhorizon again on the basics of Kant’s moral philosophy strictly. So, it can not onlyeliminate the misunderstanding of Kant’s moral philosophy, but also can lay afoundation for understanding the whole theory of Kantian ethics perfectly. |
