In the Chinese vocabulary system, the color of the word as a language to expressthe concept of color components is a special kind of semantic category poly. Itsmeaning and grammatic function are topics worth of dicussion. Based on the basiccolor words in Chinese studies, it is going to elaborate the specialphenomenon——unbalanced phenomenon during the process of the evolution, whichwill elaborate the evolution rules of Chinese basic vacabulary from one aspect fromone side.It is analyzed through many angles such as synchronic, diachronic, static state,dynamic state with a great deal of examples for detailed illustration and discuss threeaspects of the problem:First, the unbalanced phenomenon of the concept righteousness. From syllablepoint of view, Chinese basic color words can be divided into the single syllable colorwords and syllables color words. The unbalanced phenomenon of the conceptrighteousness will be dicussed in this paper.Second, the unbalanced phenomenon of the grammatic function. It will discuss thespecial unbalanced phenomenon during the process of the word-building and syntaticfunction in this paper.Third, elabarate the reason of the unbalanced phenomenon. There are manyelements which have influenced the evolution of Chinese basic color words.It willanalyse the reasons which have influenced the evlution of Chinese basic color wordsfrom the national culture, cultural contact, times, cognitive psychology.As a member of Chinese vocabulary, the evolution of Chinese basic words are fullof interest. It is beneficial to study the law of the development and evolution.Thispaper will dedicate to study it.Hope it will be good for the study of Chinese basiccolor words.
