The language is the culture of the circulating medium, and affect and reflect cultural influences. To reflect a nation’s cultural identity through language, the language of any one nation carries deep cultural connotation of the nation. Language reflect national characteristics, including the closely related ethnic folk words and folk semantics. Folk semantics is a branch of linguistics, semantics, the Folk semantic study reflect national culture color. Folk words are most commonly used in contact with the most frequent words in the language, such as things animal words, numerals, natural things word the orientation words, proper nouns, artifacts word, plant the word and color words. Specific things reflect the customs of life, religious beliefs, ethnic and cultural vocabulary. Uygur and Mongolian differences of the two cultures, so these folk words are given in different languages, different cultural connotations. Uyghur, Mongolian color words proceed from the perspective of comparative linguistics, comparative semantics, folk linguistics, cultural linguistics comparative study of the system, and focuses on folk meaning of basic color words in these two languages detailed comparative Analysis.The paper is divided into four chapters, the first chapter focuses on the research situation of the Uyghur, Mongolian color word overview.
