Study On Teaching Chinese Basic Color Words To Foreigners

After thousands of years of historical development and cultural accumulation,the Chinese language has a large number of basic color words which have rich cultural connotations.However,due to the cultures differences of different countries,the cultural connotations and grammatical functions of the same color word vary greatly.These differences cause some problems for foreign students to learn Chinese.Therefore,this paper makes an investigation on the situation of foreign students learning Chinese color words?and hopes to find out the errors and reasons of the students' learning Chinese color words at different stages through the analysis,,and give some suggestions which to help the students learn Chinese basic color words better.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,mainly introduces the background,significance,research scope and research methods of the topic,and summarizes the previous research.The second chapter collects and sorts out the category definition of Chinese basic color words by previous scholars,selects "red,white,yellow,green and black" as the research object,gives a brief overview of the historical origin and cultural connotation of these five basic color words,and analyzes the meaning evolution process from the perspective of cognition.The third chapter carries on the questionnaire survey to the foreign students with different Chinese proficiency,and carries on the statistical analysis to the survey object and the survey result.The fourth chapter summarizes the deviation and misunderstanding of the basic color words in the foreign students' learning of Chinese,and analyzes the reasons for the errors from the perspectives of students,teachers,textbooks and culture.The fifth chapter based on the results of previous research,gives some teaching Suggestions from the three aspects of teachers,textbooks and students,and puts forward the teaching principles and teaching methods of teaching Chinese basic color words.Through the case analysis,hope to hope to help the smooth implementation of teaching.
