The rise of cultural and creative industry has a homogenization background factorwith the modern transformation of the museums, which means that they are based onthe attention and the development and utilization of human cultural resources. Theinternational industry, the museum community and the relevant theorists have made atheoretical exploration on the industrial operation of the museums with that how themuseums, the nonprofit cultural service institutions survive and develop in the marketeconomy environment as the core issue in1980s and1990s, the museums have joinedthe cultural and creative industry with an indispensable main attitude in this centuryand an operation mode of combining the public welfare and the industry has beencreated. China has increased the intensity of the construction of public culturalservice system since2010, how the museums, the public cultural service institutions,deal with the impact of marketization and industrialization has become an importantissue of the museum research.The paper studies the topic from the following five aspects with China Museum forFujian-Taiwan Kinship as a case combing the current situation of the internationaland domestic museums based on theory and practice.1. Investigate the causes andhistorical context of the rise of the cultural and creative industry and introduce theimportance of the museums in the overall development of the cultural and creativeindustry based on the "concentric circles" theory.2. Comb the theoretical explorationon the museums developing cultural and creative industry. Clarify the influence andpromotion of relevant theories, such as the new museology theory, the essence theoryof the nonprofit public service institutions, the museum market theory and experienceeconomy theory and the like on the museums developing the cultural and creativeindustry.3. Make an overview on the status of internationally renowned museums,such as the British Museum in England, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in theUnited States, the Louvre in France and the "Palace Museum" in Taipei, Taiwandeveloping cultural and creative industry, introduce their advanced managementmodels and success experiences to provide reference and inspiration for our museums. 4.Take China Museum for Fujian-Taiwan Kinship as a case, study the macroeconomicsituation of the public cultural service system reform in China and the backgroundand the status of China’s museums developing the cultural and creative industry, pointout the existing problems and shortcomings and state the significance of China’smuseums developing the cultural and creative industry.5. Analyze the resourceadvantages of China Museum for Fujian-Taiwan Kinship, explore basic modelssuitable for China Museum for Fujian-Taiwan Kinship developing the cultural andcreative industry and put forward reasonable proposals on the principles which shouldbe insisted on and the considerations in the development process.
