The Study Of Gansu Theme Teleplay

Gansu theme teleplay (GTT) is an important part of western teleplay. And it’s anextremely important significance to study on GTT specially for spreading culture,establishing the image and developing the film and television play art of gansuprovince.First, the article has studied the development history of the GTT. According tothe creative process, the GTT can be divided into four stages: the bud period,thestart-up period, the period of early development, the period of rapid development, andthe basic situations of GTT have been also summarized.Second, the article have analyzed the characteristics of geographical culture inGTT mainly through the five aspects of the sublime beauty of natural landscape, theunique charm of folk customs, the bright light of revolution culture,the Extensive andprofound of historic culture which is Divided into the remote antiquity culture, ancientculture and commercial culture,the profundity of spiritual culture which is summed upas the dauntless spirit of creativity, the eclectic and creative spirit, the spirit of brave,bold and harmonious co-existence. These not only are the inexhaustible culturalresources in the creative process of GTT, but also are the inexhaustible motive forcesto motivate the people in Gansu and promote the development and progress of Gansuprovince.Third, followed the discussion of the basic connotations of the narrative andstructure in the article, the narrative structure of DTT has been systematicallyanalyzed through three aspects of the space-time arrangements, the plot of maincharacters and the design of rhythm. In this process, taking the “old persimmon tree”and “The Great Dunhuang” which are typical representative of the GTTs for example,thereinto, the storyline and Gansu element have been selected to reflect the narrativestructure of GTTs which expresses with the large-span of space-time history, asubstantial social life and order-open type of the character fate.Finally, with a view to explore the scientific development of GTT, the article hasanalyzed the problems existed in the developing process of GTT, and the suggestionsof development have also been proposed.
