The issue about the influence factors of academic achievement has been alwaysconcerned by Educational Psychology. Learning is the main job of students. In recentyears, the researches have been revealed the factors effecting on academic achievement,which gives great help to the researchers to understand it deeper. There are lots ofresearches on the personality characteristics of students. Besides there are more and morescholars who begin to pay attention to the issue that learning environment could influencestudents’ academic achievement. Previous studies show that personality characteristics andlearning environment have important influence on academic achievement, but there is alittle research about both personal factors and environment factors. This study aims to tellthe structure of students’ learning environment perception, the relationship betweenacademic achievement and learning environment perception and personalitycharacteristics, and the differences of the academic achievement and its influence factor ofthe students in different culture patterns in the current education reform background.The study uses questionnaires and investigates917college students. Firstly making aquestionnaire for students’ learning environment perception and then discussing howlearning environment perception and personality characteristics effect on college students’academic achievement, at last the results show that:(1) the self-designed questionnaire forthe students’ self learning environment perception has good reliability and validity;(2) thestudents from elite schools and the students from normal schools have differences onlearning environment perception, personality and academic achievement, for the elitestudents, Project and Practice, teacher-student relationship, the relationship betweenstudents can predicate academic achievements, for the normal students, teacher-studentrelationship and relationship between students can predicate their academicachievements;(3) the factors that affect academic achievement of elite students are learning environment perception, and rigor and openness. The factors that affect academicachievement of normal students are learning environment perception and rigor andextroversion. These factors can forecast academic achievement directly, and also,personality can forecast academic achievement indirectly through learning environmentperception. In the two different groups, personality has a great influence on the predictionof academic achievement, but the role of learning environment can not be ignored.
