Moral dilemma is the problem that people can not escape in life and unable to copewith, and it is also the the main task of ethics that needs to solve urgently. There are a lotof research about moral dilemma at home and abroad, and it also made many fruitfulresults, such as moral dilemma’s appearance,nature, features, research methods andsolution exploration. But the research about moral dilemma still has many arguments anddisagreements in current academic circles, and it’s unable to reach unified understanding,several important problems are also not related to, so it is necessary to study and explore.This paper draws on the results and the lessons of previous studies about moral dilemma,and made some comprehensive and systemic discussions. The full text divides into fourparts:The first part is the comparison research about some concepts that are easy to confusewith moral dilemma. For example, the moral conflict and moral paradox, distinguish thedifferent moral problems and clarify the concept of moral dilemma.The second part is about the four parts of moral dilemmas: The roles moral dilemma、needs moral dilemma, interests moral dilemma and rules moral dilemma, and discussingthe meaning and characteristics of them.The third part is to explore the moral dilemma’s occurring conditions. It is from twoangles----internal and external conditions to research.The fourth part is about five solutions of moral dilemma. Ross’s prima facie duty,Existentialism’s approach, the methods of Situation ethics, Chinese traditional law theoryand the best option calculation method of Prof. Han Dongping. Basing on these solutionsand combining with the actual, the author puts forward that through social and individualefforts to resolve the moral dilemma, and it is also the innovation of this paper.
