The Influence Of Subliminal Priming On Implicit Aggressiveness Of Students Of Different Personality

The influence of subliminal priming and personality factor on implicit aggressiveness isexplored in this paper to reveal the relationship between the two so that more theoretical andpractical support can be supplied on the research of implicit aggressiveness and thepsychological healthy education of college students. Concretely, the research on implicitaggressiveness is devided into2steps in the paper. Firstly,the relationship between personalityand implicit aggressiveness is discussed,and secondly the combined action of SubliminalPriming and personality is checked.In study1,type A personality questionnaire are used to filter10subjects of type A andtype B respectively from the visitors, then the implicit aggressiveness of the20subjects aremeasured with implicit association test,and effect sizes for implicit aggressiveness betweenmale and female are compred.It is revealed that ITA effect are obviously observed insubjects,which means that there are obvious implicit aggressiveness in both personality oftype A and type B,and the intensity difference is not remarkable.On the basis of study1,the subliminal priming measure is added in study2to test theimplicit aggressiveness of20subjects of type A and20subjects of type B. In the test, thesubjects are devided into2groups-subliminal attack priming group and subliminal neutralpriming group to research the influence of subliminal priming on implicit aggressiveness ofsubjects with different personalities.Data of40subjects are collected by setting subliminalinformation and watching the priming effect of stimulus on the subjects to analyse the effectof subliminal aggressiveness priming on the implicit aggressiveness of the subjects withdifferent personalities.It is revealed that for the change of implicit aggressiveness,personalityand priming interact each other,which means implicit aggressiveness enhanced significantlyin subjects of type A after accepting subliminal aggressiveness priming while there are noremarkable changes in the contrast group, and there are no significant changes in implicitaggressiveness of subjects of type B，either accepting subliminal aggressiveness priming orsubliminal neutral priming。 Finally, the following conclusions are drawed:（1） Implicit aggressiveness exists widely,and subjects always connect“nonego-nonaggressive words”and “ego-aggressive words”habitually.（2）Implicit aggressiveness exosts in both male and female,and there are no significantdifference.（3）Implicit aggressiveness exosts in both A type individual personality and B typeindividual personality,and there are no significant difference.（4）There are no difference in implicit aggressiveness of type A and B,but after beingstimulated,significant change happens in implicit aggressiveness of type A and B。Subliminal aggressiveness priming has a remarkable effect on type A with not significantinfluence on type B，which means people with type A personality are more sensitive toaggressive information and their aggressiveness is more ignited.
