Modern visual graphics is capable of creating an immediate information of visual image,capturing audiences’ attention with new form of spatial visual graphic, and allow forfeedbacks on these information. The application of modern visual graphics plays importantrole in spatial environment e. This article is based on the study and analysis of the need ofmodern visual graphics, it’s visual experience and application in space. The study furthertakes the example of carpet as an unique interior decorative ornament to demonstrate thefunction and application of visual graphics. This article describes the concept of visualgraphics and the function of the carpet, apply detail descriptions and conclusions for theapplication of visual graphics on carpet. In the case study, the graphics are categorized andanalyzed to draw the conclusion that new style, new function and new concept can be appliedto modern visual graphics design.
