This paper,based on examination of “Advanced Ear-Training and Sight-Singingas Applied to the Study of Harmony”by George Anson Wedge from a scientificperspective,through theoretical analysis and comparative research of each chapter ofthe text,with broad analysis and extensive research into the text’s primarycontents,educational procedures,training methods,and learning focuses,extrapolatingthe educational material’s design and composition characteristics,proposes a teachingmethod of “using harmony as the basis of sight-singing and earingtraining”,advancing multi-voice and tone-voice thingking educational method,andguiding our educational practices.
