Contemporary Inheritors Of The Intangible Cultural Heritage Of Tujia

This thesis is based on the method of ethnology, folklore, sociology and culturalanthropology disciplines, overall dynamic studying on the inheritors groups of Xuan’enintangible cultural heritage. Inheritors are the carrier of intangible cultural heritage,which makes the intangible cultural impacted fatally under the economic globalization.The study of thesis is under the contemporary context of intangible cultural heritageprotection, and striving to show the status of inheritors by case study of the Xuan’enintangible cultural heritage inheritors, and trying to explore a protection strategy. Thethesis focuses on the production and lifestyle of the intangible cultural heritageinheritors, based on the intangible cultural heritage protection work of experts andscholars in2005, focusing on the inheritors of intangible cultural heritage in Xuan’en.The protection of inheritors lacks appropriate theory to guide and support inpractice work, the protection of intangible cultural heritage has not formed thetheoretical foundation. This thesis starts from the survival status and protectionstrategies of intangible cultural heritage inheritors, selecting certain representativeinheritors as case study. The analysis of this thesis is rooted in the field research, so as toget a comprehensive review of the problems of protection and inheritance aboutintangible cultural heritage, aiming to put forward some corresponding countermeasuresand suggestions, in order to provide a reference for the protection of inheritors ofintangible cultural heritage in practice.
