Research On The AABB Form Of State Adjectives In Modern Chinese

In this thesis, we take the form of AABB state adjectives which was caused moreand more scholars′attention as the object of research, from its the features,grammatical features, historical evolution and other aspects to inspect, and in order todo a comprehensive and in-depth analysis for the type ofAABB state adjectives.The first chapter briefly describes the AABB type descriptive words researchorigin, research significance, the source of the paper, the structure arrangement andresearch methods, research situation. Chapter Two, Three and Four are the core of thepaper. Chapter Two firstly analyzes the internal structure of words to describe AABBstate, Secondly, summarizes from the adjectives of AABB type condition two aspectsof word formation and configuration method.Finally, from the speech tone of theAABB state adjective to descriptive words.In the third chapter we discuss the type of AABB s descriptive grammarfeature words, Firstly we combine with the center of Peking University languagecorpus, then form the AABB state adjective conducts the research from thegrammar characteristics to find the AABB state adjectives can not only act aspredicate, attributive, adverbial, also can act as a sentence complement, object, evencan make subject. In the inspection found that the AABB type descriptive wordgrammatical features in addition to the type, characteristics and limits, also found asadverbials and complements the semantic problems, sometimes AABB state adjectiveas adverbial and complement can swap.The fourth chapter studies studies the AABB state adjective historical evolution.A brief introduction to determine the research state of AABB type described thetheoretical basis and method, word history evolution after screening, according toShen Jiaxuan introduction of grammaticalization, according to the theory ofgrammaticalization adjectives history on AABB state evolution analysis.Finally, there’s a summary and some inadequacies of this article.
