Research On The Poems And Proses Of Jiang Chen Ying

As an scholar from the Ming to Qing Dynasty, Jiang Chen ying has been known literarycircles by the proses in the beginning of Qing dynasty，he is an important writer in thebeginning of the Qing Dynasty. He produces some impact in the Jiang zuo area（江左地区）even the country, but there are few specialized researches currently, so this paper uses " theworks collection of Jiang Chen ying " as the base, which through reading and analysis of thistext. And makes a comprehensive study of Jiang Chen ying’s life course, literary creation,literary theory, in order to determinate Jiang Chen ying’s specific literature achievement,explore the literature creations and the value of his theories, further clarify its position inliterary history, and this paper so as to shows the subtle relationship from the Qing Dynasty,personal and literature.Jiang Chen ying was famous in Cixi（慈溪）, but missed the Bo xue hong c（i博学鸿词）examination which is the imperial examination because of his honest and frank character,which did not change with secular at all, so he repeated imperial examinations. When seventyyears old, he passed the examination as third place, but owing to the injustice in Shun tianProvincial（顺天府）Examination, he died in prison strangely. Thus the first chapter of thispaper shows the detail of his main course, and combined with family history and friends, alsoshows the life experience’s influence on his literary creations.The second chapter analyzes the poetic self sadness, feeling about landscape and sendingfriends on three major themes, and analyzes his fresh poems which contains blue and containsserious, metaphor, pinned lyric techniques as well as his emotion in poetry tone from the earlypositive and flat until the middle period which becoming confused, depressed. And in laterperiod it has deep thought which has metaphor and lyric cleverly, euphemism, and combineswith the contention from Tang Poems and Song Poems as the background. The second chapteralso analyzes his poetics orientation which is from "Chief learns from Tang poetry (唐诗)without anti-Song poetry（宋诗）".The third chapter uses his proses as the object. Jiang Chen ying’s proses have insipidnature of main features, which is vertical, horizontal and also free for the characteristics of theemotional characteristics and styles. And analysis Jiang Chen ying’s proses in Ping ze（平仄）tonal balance, using function words, paying attention to the layout of the characteristics fromthe voice and word form of two aspects. At last his multiple learning phenomenon of proseswhich is from the proses of Tang and Song Dynasty as main, also it learns the proses style ofShi J（i《史记》）, including the prose style of the period in Zhan guo（战国）.Thus this chapter explains the reason that he complies with the Qing Dynasty’s and literature tend and standard.Jiang Chen ying’s theory and literary theory is mainly in the fourth chapter to show. Heinherits Confucian poetics and advocates that poetry is based on temperament, and should usefor practical to revive Confucian poetics of Feng ya（风雅）. And using poetry of "meaning "and " sound" of the two basic characteristics, he puts forward the core theory of poetry that"meaning "is the main of poetry and "sound" for using. And he is against the appearance ofnimble sound, and claim of using vulgar words in poetry.In the prose theory, he has inheritedthe tradition of Tang and Song’ prose, Confucian classic knowledge as the foundation. Heemphasizes the practical value of prose, advocates " the unity of literature and Confucianmorality ",（文道合一） and he is against prose return to the ancients blindly and plagiarism,criticizes writers do the stereotyped writing dialectically which causes of adverse impact.Finally, the last chapter mainly introduces Jiang Chen ying’s literary creation whichdepending on lots of poetry criticisms about Jiang Chen ying’s significance and shortcomingsof his poems and proses. And will analyses the relationship of his literature and the origin ofTong cheng School（桐城派）. Eventually this paper will explain Jiang Chen ying’s literarycreation which complies with the development trend of literature, and will also explain hisstatus as a literature master.
